Training and Mr. Pokemon

Arriving in Cherrygrove was a welcomed break for the trio. The first stop was the pokemon center to heal both Galm and Blaze. It didn’t take long for nurse joy to work her magic and both the pokemon were back out from there respective pokeballs right as rain. It felt weird being away from home, even if he was only one town over and he wondered if he should call his mom. But the feeling passed soon enough, he had always talked about leaving to go on a journey all the time back in pallet town, so he was sure she knew this was bound to happen.

So once again Goma, Galm, and Blazed headed out towards route 30 searching for pokemon to test themselves against.

"Rati..." A low and hoarse sound would come from the bushes on your right, and soon enough the Pokemon would appear, an angry glint in it's eyes. He would bare his teeth, readying himself for an attack.

As the trio walked into the tall grass looking for wild pokemon a sudden noise was heard. Looking around they didn't spot the source and the noise didn't seem to continue. Goma shot a glance towards Galm before making a quick decision. "Galm Fly up and see if you spot anything, Blaze Keep watch around us, i don't think we are alone."

The Raticate would yell out as he made a mad dash towards fire Pokemon, no hesitation in his action. His teeth sunk into the side of the smaller creature- although it didn't seem to have much of an effect since he filed his teeth recently.

Blaze let out a startling cry as his back erupted into flames and he backed away from the overgrown rat. Galm quickly interviend as he flew back down to protect his new partner. After sparing a glance at the fire rat checking to see if he was alright, Goma focused his attention back to the battle. "Galm us quick attack!"

A squeak- The rat would dodge just barely, and land on it's hind legs. Using it's own quick attack, it goes for the smaller fire type, thinking it seemed weaker and easier to hit.

Galm missed his mark by a hiar and turned to intervien, but Goma knew the little bird wasn't fast enough. As the giant Raticate completly ignored Galm and targeted Blaze, Goma went with a quick decison. "Blaze dodge it with quick attack then fire ember!!". He hoped his orders registerd fast enough for the mouse to react.

The flame would hit the Raticate right in the face, and he would be sent flying backwards. Landing on his back, he coughed, and struggled to get up. A moment later, he was on all fours, but trembling violently. The trainer could easily catch it at this point, or if he chose not to, the Raticate would faint on its own in a mere moment.

Calming down a bit as the raticate seemed to lose some strength, Goma quickly decided on what to do. Capture or Exprience? This giant rat was fierce but he didn't think he could handle it at this point, so he did what any trainer would do. "Blaze quick attack lets go!!"

The fire mouse jolted forward intent on paying it back for the earlier suprise attack.

A weak cry- the creature would fall over and lay flat on his back, eyes closed and head spinning. The poor creature had fainted.

Congratulations, Blaze is Lvl 8

"Good job Blaze, way to recover after a rough start. Thanks for helping Galm." With that the trio once again set out towards Mr.Pokemon's house, Galm in the air scouting the area.
