Revan Adventures: Route 32

Revan stops at the Pokemon Center before leaving Violet City on Route 32. Savage is by his side as always glad to be rested from the previous battle. The two are on their usual prowl for wild Pokemon while making it to the next town.

A small bird lands on a branch just above your head. Their eyes dart side to side, and end on your canine friend's face. Squawking, Spearow lifts a wing, and leans over to pick some loose feathers indifferently, as it seems to hardly acknowledge your presence.

"Savage, try Leering it closer and then Biting it." Revan says calmly. Growlithe begins to stare at the Spearow.

Perhaps the bird would have been intimidated if the dog was able to climb the tree and reach- but since it had faith that the pokemon had no such ability, it sat proudly fluffing it's feathers, glaring in return, mockingly. Amused slightly at the trainer's thought process, it simply sat there, staring downwards. After all, how could the Growlithe attack, if Spearow was all the way up in the tree, and the two of them were land bound?

"Well then. We'll play it your way little Spearow!" Revan gives Savage a little signal. The Growlithe runs up to the base of the tree and begins blowing Embers at the Spearow and the tree.

A loud noise- the leaves of the tree burst into flame, but that wasn't quite as loud as what would happen next. A flock of Spearow, perhaps around 15 to 20, burst through- hesitating a mere moment, before darting towards the Growlithe and his trainer. A huge shadow looms over the two, as well as the smaller birds. Fearow glides over slowly, it's presence ominous.

"Well then... Uh.. Guys? GUYS!?" All of Revan's Pokemon come out. "Savage keep using Ember! Vulcan push them back with Gust! Magneto, alternate between Thundershock and Ancient Power! Riolu use Lock On then Aura Sphere!"

Flames shoot from Growlithe's mouth, Vulcan flaps its wings madly, Magneto is producing electric arcs and rocks towards the birds, and Riolu is releasing a ball of energy.

A few birds fall, but the majority remains strong under their leader's command. The sound of wings flapping, a swarm of flurry attacks commence- hitting all of the pokemon as well as the trainer. It must be incredibly painful, and distracting. While the smaller birds did that, Fearow moves in slowly, leering down at all of the smaller pokemon, only making them weaker to the Spearows' attacks.

"Magneto focus your shots at that Fearow! The rest of you stay on the Spearows!

The evolved bird was clearly too powerful for a small pokemon to do any considerable amounts of damage. And with one powerful wing attack, Magneto was sent flying. Two more birds fall before Vulcan's and Savage's feet, leaving fifteen left. Fearow spreads it's wings, glaring at the trainer, making it clear that it would not be beaten.

Magnemite regains its control mid flight and goes back to helping its teammates with its onslaught of attacks.

A large gust of wind knocks the pokemon and their trainer backwards- and the birds scatter. Now that the group were on the pidgeys' territory, they thought it best not to follow. "Chuuu..." A soft and weak cry, yet full of determination, sounds from beside the trainer. Looking down, you would see a small Pikachu, rather young, laying beside you, covered in scratches and bruises. Perhaps it had been sent with you, and landed rather violently.

"Ok guys you can return..." Everyone is returned to their Pokeball except Savage. Revan then notes the Pikachu. "Hey there buddy.... You belong to another trainer? Or you wanna come with us?" Revan holds out an empty Pokeball.

The Pikachu simply looked at the ball, and turned it's back to the trainer. At first it would seem that the small rodent had no interest, yet a moment later, it's tail tapped against the ball, and with a flash of red, was captured.

Revan places the new addition on his belt and walks on. "Well, this wasn't a completely terrible day."
