Walking on Route 29

Fall and his new Trapinch, sand start their adventure off at route 29. Fall felt at home in the wilds here... They were nearly untouched by machines, or overly manipulated by the hands of humans. The only sign of civilization was the many children who were playing with their pokemon. He could hear their laughs in the distance, and smiled at the sound of their happiness.

Fall need to gage Sand's abilities, and was looking it out for a potential threat. He walked slowly and cautiously alert to his surroundings. His hakama swishing in the wind as it breezed by. It carried the scent of devestation, but Fall dismissed it. He knew that people loved nature as much as he did. So he continued to walk forward he felt eyes watching him... Suddenly a wild Pokemon attacked!

A Rattata charged against Trapinch

With no time to think Fall commanded his Trapinch to battle "Sandstorm!" The small ant-lion pokemon expelled a column of sand towards the rat! The sand bellowed and blew making contact with the wild Rattata. The sand slammed into the normal type knocking him back, but only serving as a minor deterrence to it. "Gyro Ball, Sand!" The Trapinch began to spin as he two silver blue orb formed around the front of his massive jaws. "Just wait for him to attack us, Sand. Then bolt forward for maximum damage." he commanded coolly.

The Rattata was blinded by the sandstorm and was charging toward Sand

"Go, Sand, Gyro Ball!" The ground type slammed into the Rattata full speed. The Rattata reeled backwards from the contact. Sand spun back infront of Fall. Fall clenched his fists till they were white. What would happen next, Fall wondered.

Congratalations Your Trapinch is now Level 6

Fall jumped up and down in excitement as Sand used sandstorm to launch himself into Fall's loving arms. However he misgaged the strength of sandstorm and instead sent Fall flying backwards along with Sand. Quickly the teen got up, and brushed himself off. Making sure his white gi was spotless.

"We won, Sand!" Fall celebrated", but we are gonna need to train alot more!" he added to the glee-filled ground pokemon. Trapinch seemed to sadden at this statement. "BUT - It'll be fun, AND AWESOME!" Sand cried with excitement at this, and the teen continued to walk through route 29. Looking out for more wild pokemon.

A Ekans appeared slithering

"A poison type! His attacks won't be too effective against you, Sand!" Fall re-assured the ground type. "Make your presence known to the Ekans, Sand!" Trapinch jumped forward and clamped it's jaws together to create a loud sound, and cried it's challenge forth to the snake pokemon.

The Snake pokemon was hit hard but used Poison sting on Fall it didnt affect him much

Fall yelped in suprises as the snake's poison sting made contact with him! Quickly he got up and commanded his pokemon "Sand, use Sandstorm!" The ant-lion pokemon expelled a spinning cylinder of sand towards the snake pokemon.

The snake pokemon is being pelted by the sand storm and fainted
Congratalations Fall is now Level 7
You may catch the Ekans

*Picks up the fainted pokemon and lays it in a safe spot* Fall, walked slowly away from the snake pokemon who attacked him earlier. He held no anger towards the frightened pokemon. He understands what it's like to make a mistake, when one is surprised. Slowly he walked back to the main path and continued to watch for wild pokemon.

You see a another Pidgey

"Sand, use Sandstorm!" Fall commanded his partner. Maybe the pidgey wouldn't notice the small ground types, and he would get the first surprise hit in. The ground pokemon bellowed the sand at the bird pokemon.

The Pidgey used quick attack to dodge it and strike Trapinch in the back then use peck charging against Trapinch

"Counter with Gyro Ball!" The ground type spun and a silver ring formed around his jaws and spun towards the attacking bird.

The Starly got hit but got up and used tackle striking Trapinch

Sande was struck by the birds tackle, and reeled back from the impact. "Are you okay!?" Fall concernedly cried out to his partner. Trapinch, slowly got up again, he was clearly hurt by that last attack... Fall bit his lip in worry. "Use sandstorm to create a distraction! Then go underneath it and use bite!" Sand expelled the sand in all directions.

The plan worked then the Pidgey fainted
Congratalations Sand is now Level 8
You may catc the pidgey

Fall pulled a pokeball off of his waste and pressed the small button on the front of the device. He tossed it at the Pidgey, and hoped that it would catch the bird Pokemon.

The ball shook violently for a moment, before ceasing all movements with a 'click'.

Pidgey, level 5.
Moves: Peck, Quick Attack, Sand attack.

"Yes!" Fall exclaimed as he ran to pick up Sand. "Did you see that, Buddy? I caught my first wild pokemon!" His pulse was racing, his anxiety was high, but now... He was glee filled! "We need to head to a pokemon center... That last battle really did you in, but you did such a great job! I'm super proud of you!" Fall compassionately stated as he headed into the next town.
